How it works
The trip’s main event. Split the group into two teams, and every match across the trip is worth a point to its side: one for a win, a half each for a halve. Get to half the points plus a half and the Cup is yours.
Each round you pick the session: Best Ball (each side’s lower net ball counts), Combined Ball (both partners’ nets added, nowhere to hide), or Singles, one on one. Every match is hole-by-hole net match play off the low handicap: the best player in the match plays off zero and everyone else gets the difference, on their own tee’s stroke index, so a mixed-tee match is still a fair fight.
It’s live from the first tee shot. The board shows the Cup score, every match’s state (2 UP thru 7, 4 & 3, halved) and the points still to play, and your scorecard dots show the strokes you get in this match, not your full handicap.

Options
Teams
Name both teams, then tap each player onto a side. Uneven sides are allowed; the app flags it rather than stopping you.
Format by round
Best Ball, Combined Ball or Singles, set round by round. Untick any round that doesn’t count, so a warm-up day stays out of the Cup.
Pairings
Slot players into each round’s matches, up to four matches a round.
Handicap %
One allowance covers every format, singles included; plenty of groups play 90% across the board. Out of the box it’s the standard 90% for team matches and 100% for singles.
FAQ
How are strokes worked out in a match?+
Off the low handicap. Everyone’s playing handicap is figured at the Cup’s percentage, the lowest in the match plays off zero, and the rest get the difference on the holes their stroke index says. The board puts those strokes next to every name, Rob (11), so nobody has to ask on the tee.
How many points wins it?+
Half the points on offer plus a half: 7½ of 14, say. The standings show the total, what’s left to play and what each side still needs, and the moment a team can’t be caught it reads: clinched.
What does the match card show?+
The broadcast view: hole numbers across the top with the current hole in black, par, a row for every player’s gross score (birdies circled, bogeys boxed, a dot under each hole where they get a shot) and the match state hole by hole between the two sides.
Where do I see who carried the team?+
On the leaderboard: the overall Cup standings, every round’s results match by match, and each player’s own record of wins, losses, halves and points.
Does the Cup touch the money?+
No. It’s points only and never enters settle-up, so it runs alongside your skins and quota without muddying who owes whom. Play for the trophy, the shirt or the bragging rights.
Can we play foursomes (alternate shot)?+
Not yet. The Cup runs Best Ball, Combined Ball and Singles today.
