Rake Golf · Est. 2025
Every bet. Every round. Every story.
The golf games they’ll talk about for years.
Skins, Nassau, team matches. Scored live, settled before you reach the nineteenth hole, and recapped by Nigel — a podcast host with a grudge.

Golf groups run three to eight games a round across multiple formats, with custom rules and mixed handicaps. Today that’s paper cards and somebody doing the math on the back of a placemat. Rake Golf runs the whole thing — handicaps, scores, skins, quota, a full team Cup — and settles every dollar before you walk off the 18th green.
From the nineteenth hole
What golfers are saying
“A must-have for any golf group or outing. A guaranteed hit.”
On the course
Score it live, hole by hole
Tap the box for par, minus for birdie, plus for bogey. Every game recalculates as you go, the group sees it instantly, and Nigel is watching — a run of good holes gets called out while you’re still on the tee. No signal? It keeps scoring and syncs when you’re back.

Live commentary from Nigel
Nigel calls it as it happens
Skins won, birdies, a hot streak, a nine settled, the match gone dormie, a triple bogey nobody will mention again. Nigel cuts in on the live leaderboard the moment it happens, in his own dry voice, for every game you’re playing. Hundreds of lines, never the same one twice on the board, and big enough to read in full sun.

Every game at once
Skins, quota, Nassau — all running together
Three to eight games a round, each with its own handicap allowance and house rules, all tallied off one set of scores. Open any game to see exactly how it was decided, hole by hole, stroke by stroke.
Explore the games
GHIN sync
Live handicaps, straight from GHIN
Pull every player’s current index automatically — plus handicaps and all — along with full course data: rating, slope, par, yardage, and the stroke index for every tee box. Half the group off the blues and half off the whites is handled per player, per tee.

Team match play
Your own Cup, properly run
Name it — the Reunion Cup, the MLB Cup, whatever your group plays for — then name the teams, draft by handicap, and run Best Ball, Combined Ball and Singles with real match-play scoring: closeouts, halves, dormie, the lot. Pairings spread partners and opponents evenly across the trip, and the Cup is live from the first tee shot to the last putt.

Settle up
Squared away at the 19th hole
Every game’s money nets into one ledger: who’s up, who’s down, and exactly who pays whom — settled before you’ve reached the nineteenth hole. No spreadsheet, no arguments. Round by round, week by week, or across a whole trip, with every game rolled in.

The encore
Your own podcast, every round
Nigel — our dry, deadpan British host — writes and voices it all. The Recap lands when your round locks: the carnage, the money, the jabs, built from the actual scores and the stories you feed him. Going on a trip? He previews every course before you leave and hosts The Morning Show on the big days. Real results, real names, private to your group.

Hear Nigel
Three kinds of episode
All three below are real, unedited episodes from England 2026 — eight golfers, eight courses, one very long argument about money.
Before the trip
Royal Birkdale
A course preview, dropped the week before they flew — history, the holes that matter, and what it will do to this particular group.
4:08
Morning of the round
The Morning Show
The final day. The Cup sits at 8½–7½ with four singles left — a read on every match, and a birthday send-off before the 12:30 tee time.
7:26
After the round
Royal Liverpool recap
The last round of the trip. Final money, the quota race settled, the skins war, and who is buying the shirts.
6:21
Dot the cards
Print a pre-round card with every player’s strokes already dotted, hole by hole and game by game, readable even in black and white.
Paper or phone
Score live on a phone, or play off the printed card and photograph it afterwards. The reader pulls every player’s row, flags any cell it isn’t sure about, and cross-checks against the OUT/IN/TOTAL written on the card.
Two scorers, one round
Big group split across tee times? Each group gets its own scorer link and keeps its own card. The round only locks once every group has submitted.
Stories from the group
Anyone following along can send Nigel a note mid-round — a great shot, a meltdown, some trash talk. The good ones land in the episode.
Photos and video
Drop photos and clips straight onto the round from the course. They land in a shared gallery on the leaderboard, so the whole group has one place for them.
Custom local rules
Handicap percentages, a max playing handicap, no double strokes on par 3s — every group’s house rules, set the way your group plays them.
A person signs off
The app does the reading and the math; a person confirms every card before a single dollar is settled. Anything it isn’t sure of gets flagged, never guessed.
Readable in sunlight
Big tap targets, high contrast, one shared link for the whole group. Built for a phone in a back pocket on a bright day.
One ledger, settled
Every format, every round — or a whole trip — netted into one ledger: who owes who, in dollars, points, or pints.
How it works
01
Set up your round
Add your golfers, the course, and the games you play — skins, Nassau, the Cup, whatever your group bets.
02
Sync from GHIN
Pull live handicaps and full course data — or snap a photo of the scorecard.
03
Score it
Hole by hole on a phone, or upload the card; someone confirms it before anything tallies.
04
Settle up
Everything’s settled before you reach the nineteenth hole, and Nigel’s episode lands in everyone’s texts.
Accuracy first
One wrong stroke costs someone money
So every stroke is right. Handicaps and course data come straight from GHIN, ratings come off the card you’re actually playing, and the math follows the World Handicap System to the half stroke. Anything the app isn’t sure of gets flagged and asked — never guessed.
