How it works
Quota is points against a target. Every hole pays off your net score: bogey 1, par 2, birdie 3, eagle 4, anything worse is zero. Your strokes are already in the net, so everybody chases the same opening number, 36, and the 3-handicap and the 18 play on level terms.
Finish over your quota and you’re plus; come up short and you’re minus. The round pot pays the players furthest over their number, and ties split the places they share. No money moves until the first score goes in, so nobody leads on the first tee.
Across a trip the quota keeps itself honest: after every round your target moves halfway toward what you actually scored, so whoever posts 42 tees it up next time chasing 39. Add a trip pool and it builds every round and pays once at the end on total points over quota.

Options
Handicap
Defaults to 90% of course handicap; 100, 95, 75, 50 and Gross are also available.
Round pot
Dollars per player each round (default $20), paying 1 to 4 places (default 2, split 60/40). Set it to $0 to play trip-long only.
Trip pool
Dollars per player per round, off by default. It builds all trip and pays 1 to 4 places once, at the end, on cumulative points over quota.
Scope
This round, every round, or trip-long. Quotas carry forward from your last counting round.
FAQ
How is my quota set?+
Everyone starts at 36. Points are already net of your handicap strokes, so the handicap isn’t counted twice. After each round your quota moves halfway toward what you scored: post 30 off a 36 and next round you need 33.
Can we run a nightly game and a trip-long one together?+
Yes, in one game. Set a round pot for each day and a trip pool for the week. They settle side by side off the same scores.
What if I pick up?+
That hole scores zero points. Same as a blow-up, no worse.
What if someone misses a round?+
If they don’t post a score, their quota carries forward unchanged and they can’t cash that round. By default they don’t ante that day’s pot either, and in the trip standings a missed round counts as even.
