Nassau
Front, back, and the full eighteen. Three bets in one, with presses when you’re getting beat.
How it works
A Nassau is three matches at once: the front nine, the back nine, and the overall eighteen. Low net wins the hole. Every nine is played out to the last hole, so a bet reads like ‘2 up’ or ‘AS’, and you can win one, two, or all three.
Strokes come off the low handicap: that player plays scratch, and everyone else gets the difference on the stroke holes: 100% in singles, 90% in two-player best ball, unless the organizer sets the game’s own percentage. Two players is a straight head-to-head; four is two-player teams playing best net ball.
Then the presses. By default a new bet opens automatically when a side goes 2 down, running from the next hole to the end of that nine. Want one sooner? The scorer’s card has a Press button for every bet still open: one tap starts a fresh bet from the current hole.

Options
Bet structure
2x9 + 18 (the classic, default), Front 9 + Back 9 with no overall, three six-hole matches (6 + 6 + 6), or one 18-hole bet.
Stakes
Set the front (default $10 a player). The back matches the front unless you change it, and the overall defaults to double, so $10 / $10 / $20. Every press plays for its nine’s stake.
Auto presses
On by default, triggered at 2 down. Pick 1, 2, or 3 down, or turn them off and press by hand.
Press the press
Default: any bet, original or press, that goes 2 down opens a new press. Switch to Originals Only and only the front, back, and overall can trigger presses.
Overall press
Off by default, the classic way. Turn on ‘Also press the overall 18’ to let the big bet press too.
Teams
Pick the teams, have the app deal them now, or Blind Draw, where nobody knows the teams until the round locks.
FAQ
How do the strokes work?+
Off the low handicap. The lowest playing handicap plays from zero and everyone else gets the difference on the hardest holes. The dots on the card are this match’s strokes, not your full handicap.
How does a manual press work?+
Tap Press on the bet you want, and a new bet starts on the hole you’re playing at that nine’s stake. It goes live on the tap, so call it out on the tee first.
Do presses cross the nine?+
No. A press runs to the end of its own nine (or its own six in a 6 + 6 + 6), just like on paper.
On a team, what do I win or lose?+
The full stake for every bet, and so does your partner. Lose the front at $10 and you’re each out $10.
What does the card show?+
Front, Back, and Overall boxes with the live status and each press stacked under its nine. Finished bets fill in with the winner’s color. Open it for every player’s score with their stroke dots, the team’s best ball, the running match, and who owes what.
