Best Ball (Four-Ball)
Two-player teams, best net ball counts. Partners take turns being the hero.
How it works
You and your partner each play your own ball, and on every hole your side counts the better net score. It’s a match, side against side: win the hole with your best ball, go one up, and close it out like any match. If your partner’s in jail, you carry the team.
Six or eight in the group? Use a blind draw and the app deals the two-player teams when the round locks. Then every team plays every other team as its own 18-hole match, so nobody sits out and nobody knows their partner until the scores are in.

Options
Teams
Pick them, have the app deal them at random the moment you save, or blind draw: nobody knows the teams until the round locks. Six or eight players go blind draw and play round robin.
Stake
Dollars per player, per match. Win the match at $10 and both winners are +$10, both losers −$10. With three or four teams, every match pays on its own.
Handicap
90% by default; each player gets strokes off their own handicap at that rate. 100, 95, 75, 50 or gross also available.
FAQ
What if my partner picks up?+
Their ball counts as net double bogey and your ball still plays for the team. On a hole where only one of you has a ball, that ball is your side’s score.
We’ve got six — can we still play?+
Yes. Set the teams to blind draw. When the round locks the app deals three two-player teams, and each one plays the other two as separate matches. Eight players means four teams.
How is the match shown?+
The card shows the match status as you go, 2 UP or AS, and the final margin like 3&2. With three or four teams you get one line per matchup and every player’s money.
