What this is

Rake Golf is a service of Simons Says Consulting, Inc. (a scorekeeping and settlement-tracking tool for friendly group golf games). It is a private companion app for invited golf groups: trips, rounds, scores, and group games for members who join a trip. Text messages from this service are sent by Simons Says Consulting, Inc.

Information we collect

Trip organizers add member profiles: name, nickname, home club, handicap identifiers (such as a GHIN number), mobile phone number, and email address. The app stores golf scores, game results, and settlement figures for each round, plus photos and notes a group chooses to share.

Text messages

With your consent, we send trip-related text messages: score confirmations, live round links, results, and recap notifications — typically a few messages on golf days only. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for any purpose.

How information is used and shared

Your information is used solely to operate the app for your group: computing handicaps and game results, displaying leaderboards to trip members, and sending the messages described above. We do not sell personal information. Service providers (hosting, messaging delivery) process data only to provide the service.

Retention and your choices

Trip data is retained as group history. To correct or remove your information, contact your trip organizer or email rob@simons.coach.
